Freestanding aerial yoga rig

A freestanding overhead structure was created because the false walls and ceiling did not allow mounting. It had to remain stable during static workouts while providing enough beams for a class without making the room feel obstructed.

Portable calisthenics rig

Past client: NUS Calisthenics CCA

The brief called for a smooth 1.8 m rung that would resist bending, remain stable during dynamic movements, assemble quickly for training and dismantle for storage. Professional Engineer certification formed part of the school project requirements.

Athletics sprint sled

Past client: Singapore Athletics

This large, heavy-duty sled was uneconomical to ship from overseas. It was fabricated wide and tall enough to pass over starting blocks, with a stable structure that could be loaded using standard weight plates.

Ceiling suspension training rack

Past client: School of the Arts (SOTA)

An overhead suspension-training rack was mounted at approximately 4 m. Its layout had to avoid lights arranged in a hexagonal pattern, sit 50 cm below them and remain stable without noticeable wobble during use.

Mobile athletics storage cage

Past client: Singapore Athletics

The cage combines a lockable upper compartment for expensive items, two levels for discus storage and a level for sleds. Industrial wheels allow the loaded unit to be moved more comfortably.

Compact dumbbell baskets

Past client: Move to Live Singapore

Tall baskets keep same-weight dumbbells together while occupying a small footprint. Each basket was dimensioned around the actual dumbbells so they would sit securely rather than topple within the rack.

Wall storage and suspension rack

A single wall-mounted structure can provide light-equipment storage and anchor points for suspension trainers. On this Singapore Athletics project, square rungs were deliberately used to discourage unintended pull-up use.

Made-to-measure trolleys

Trolleys can be designed around the dimensions, weight and handling needs of the actual equipment, from hoops and balls to bulky athletics items. Wheel type, handle height and compartment layout can be adapted to the users and site.

Pull-up bar variants

Pull-up and suspension bars can be adapted for wall, ceiling or freestanding use. Previous variants include separate rungs for gymnastic rings and pull-ups, as well as compact installations for condominiums and training rooms.

Weight plate stacker and event fixture

Past project: Under Armour Test of Will

The fixture used a stable plate-loadable base and a stand for resistance bands that marked the required height during battling-rope movements—an example of a simple custom item solving a very specific event need.

Pull-up bars added to boxing mounts

Bars were welded onto an existing boxing-bag structure for Move to Live Singapore. Reusing the structure saved floor and wall space while keeping the finished addition visually consistent with the gym.

Incline pull-up training guides

Triangle plates were welded to the existing bars at Springfield Secondary School so a bungee guide could be attached. The visual and physical reference helps students train the intended movement mechanics more consistently.

Bouldering wall reinforcement

Although the Fit Bloc structure was structurally sound, users could feel movement in the overhead frame. Additional steel bracing was welded in to make the structure feel substantially stiffer during use.

Bench-to-kettlebell storage retrofit

Heavy and cumbersome benches were joined and repurposed as low kettlebell storage for Move to Live Singapore, extending their useful life while solving a separate storage problem.
